We Hired Our Own SEO Marketing Consultant

The SEO consultant that was hired by the SEO marketing company we use has agreed to come and work solely for our company. My boss told me that we needed to have someone in house that could direct a team for all SEO issues and I informed our consultant of this and let her know that we would probably not be needing her services as soon as I could find someone to hire.

She, the SEO consultant, was worried that since she was so new to her SEO marketing company that they would fire her if we dropped them. I offered her the job and let her know what the starting salary would be for her to become our personal SEO marketing manager and she accepted right away.

My boss was thrilled to learn that I had convinced the SEO marketing person who was already very aware of what our site needed to do to stay on top. The salary that we offered her was apparently more than what she was making for the marketing company and being able to only deal with one client, was something that she explained later was a dream come true.

It took her three weeks to relocate permanently to Boston and start working for our company. She has put together a team of five people whose job is to work on search engine optimization for forty hours a week.
