Stayed In The Galena Bed And Breakfast

Wednesday, March 31st, 2010

I put my father in charge of making our reservations and then got a little worried because he always bases everything on cost. If it is too much in his mind, then he is not staying there. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that he had booked us two rooms at the Galena bed and breakfast and it was not too expensive, nor was it the cheapest place around.

I was so happy to see the charm that the Galena bed and breakfast had and each room was tastefully decorated differently than the others. I told my father how happy I was with his decision and he told me that it reminded him of when times were simpler and staying at one of the big new Galena hotels would not be the same, so he opted for this place instead.

We had some really great food at the bed and breakfast and walked through the gardens too. My sister and her husband came into town a few days later and they opted for the new Galena hotels that my father was very much against staying in. I knew that this type of place would not appeal to them and that is just fine with me.

Getting Iron Doors And Gate With Home Equity Loan

Tuesday, March 16th, 2010

I never knew how expensive iron doors were until I priced them at a local shop. The shop has been in business for years and I have always admired their work that was displayed in the front window. I never really had any reason to look before, but now that my door is looking like it has seen better days, I am hoping to upgrade to a full set of iron doors.

My husband has told me that we should go ahead and replace the front gate with an iron gate and we can just get a home equity loan to pay for all of it. I am not too sure that we can get a loan that easily after all the stuff with the banks and the housing market. I know that four years ago, we were approved, for a twenty thousand dollar home equity loan but we decided not to do the work to the house then. I sure wish that we would have taken the money then.

If for some reason, we cannot afford the iron doors and the iron gate then I will settle for just one of them and continue to save my money until we can get the other one.

Sent To Angier NC Paint Supplies Remodeling Company

Tuesday, March 2nd, 2010

When I pulled up to the paint supplies Angier NC company that my remodeling company to go to, I had no idea what colors I was going to pick out. I had looked at many different color wheels and could not make up my mind. Finally after about four weeks of this, my remodeling company contractor told me that he had to have the colors that I wanted for the paint and walls by the end of the week. He sent me to the paint company thinking that they might be able to help me make a decision.

The manager of the paint supplies Angier NC company was expecting me and she told me that she was going to show me a few different colors and I was supposed to say yes, no or maybe and then she could narrow down the colors for me. After she showed me all the colors, there were only three in the yes pile and one in the maybe pile. It turned out that I was very drawn to green and brown. The green would go on the walls and some light shade of brown was going to be for the trim.

It only took a total of forty five minutes for me to pick out, pay for and have all the paint mixed and put into my car. I am sure that my remodeling company contractor will be happy and wonder why he did not send me there weeks ago.
